Asma Nadeem is a research associate at the Smart Sensors Lab, School of Medicine, National University of Ireland, Galway. She has received a bachelor’s degree in advanced computer sciences and a master’s degree in computer sciences from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Her research is focused on medical signal and image analysis. Asma is developing novel signal processing methods for wearable electro physiological sensors to prevent acute events in chronic cardio metabolic conditions. She has prior experience in medical image processing and analysis including the coronary Optical Coherence Tomography imaging.
