Dr Patricia Vazquez

Patricia Vazquez is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in MEMS sensors for biomedical and environmental problems. She obtained her PhD at DTU Nanotech in micro-technology. After that, her research explored a wide variety of MEMS sensors for diverse applications such as environmental pollution and medical devices. In the recent years she has focus in devices for cardiovascular pressure monitoring.

Her current interest are cardiac implants and their deployment, in addition to point of care solutions that contribute to safer monitoring and treatment of patients from their homes.
