Dr. Pau Redon-Lurbe

Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Pau Redon-Lurbe is a chemical engineer with an international PhD in predictive modelling by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. During his first postdoctoral fellowship at the Health Institute Carlos III, Madrid (Spain) he was working in the development and validation of smart wearable devices for paediatric population in the cardio-metabolic field. Recently he was awarded with the prestigious Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship, financed by the European Commission, to continue his research in developing new smart medical devices. His research in the Smart Sensor Laboratory, in close collaboration with CÚRAM- Medical Device Research Center, pursues the design of a point of care device, for home-based care, capable of measuring cardiac biomarker levels in a minimally invasive manner. He is author of more than 30 scientific papers published in peer-review journals and has participated in numerous International Congresses.
